It's about 90% complete, but good enough for me to start sending out sponsorship proposals. 2thumbs.gif

Ray, I didn't get far enough into racing to start sending out sponsorship proposals. I was stupid enough to use all my own money to start racing. I'm curious what your plan is. When you send out sponsorship proposals how do you tell the companies what you can do for them? For example, do you have some kind of customer demographics which you include, that give the company an idea who will see their advertising? What else might you include that would give a company an incentive to sponsor you? I don't see any such information on the website.

This may sound selfish, but I don't put proposal info on the website, because after all, only so many companies will dish out merchandise and/or cash every year and I want every penny of it laugh.gif I worked almost 2 months (off & on) on my 17 page proposal. I researched online and bought a few ebooks on the subject.

Basically, you're trying to sell yourself as best you can. I spell out what I'll be doing, where I'll be, and what I'm looking for from them in return. That's also the reason I have a few shows in the schedule to give more exposure for the sponsors. The more you can promote, the better chance you'll get on getting something.

I finally got around to updating the site from the 1990s look. LOL
