This might be of particular interest to the track guys here....

I'm now carrying Racing Brake brand rotors. They don't have a two-piece rotor for the LS1's, but I did find out that if we got enough interest (25 pair) that it's possible. What I'm really here to let you know about are their one-piece rotors.

Big deal you all are thinking... smile.gif But Racing Brake makes the only set of Curved-vane front rotors for this F-body. They have both LS1 and LT1 front rotors (rear as well, but those are straight vane).

I think we all know that curved vane rotors are more effective air pumps, right? Well for those looking for some help in keeping their front brakes cool, here you go.

I can only get so much info up on my website.... so here's some more information:

RacingBrake rotors are produced solely to meet the needs of the performance enthusiast. From 3D CAD design & tooling to casting & machining, we control all production processes to insure quality, performance, and value. Unlike most competitors who drill and slot rotor blanks, RacingBrake engineers combine patent-pending designs, proprietary alloys, and precise machining specifications to achieve performance.

Convergent flow vane design
US Patent Application #: 10/861213

Staggered vanes distribute heat more efficiently across disc surface while increasing airflow through rotor.

* Less fade
* Longer disc life
* Reduction in hot spots.

Rotors are machined with tightest tolerance in parallelism, thickness variation and run out. Cross drilling and slotting are part of the production process. RB rotors have total performance integrity - from design to finish.

Dynamic Balance 100% checked and corrected as needed for all ventilated rotors to assure pulsation free pedal feel.

Surface Coating ElectroDeposition Paint (EDP) is our standard which was first introduced by RB to the Performance industry in 2002. Better resistance to corrosion with uniform surface coverage on both edges and recesses (inside vanes). Better appearance and more environmental friendly.
