1994 Formula, hard top, 6-speed, 79,000 miles (and counting). Built as a track\street car. I've done lots of work to this car, ran it at GingerMan several times, and it's a blast to drive.
Motor is stock. A\C pump, lines, and condenser removed. A\C delete pully added.
Pace Setter 1-5/8" mid length headers.
Straight pipe where Cat. converter used to be.
Performance Turbo style muffler installed be previous owner, not sure what brand.
New Quasi-Spark distributor installed last year.
MSD cap and rotor installed 200 miles ago.
Custom made set of 8.8mm MSD plug wires that run up thru looms on the valve covers and over the headers instead of between headers and block. Wires have 1200 degree insulation from valve covers to boot and an additional insulator over the boot. I got sick of frying plug wires on the headers.
New PS pump 2000 miles ago.
New clutch installed at approx. 75,000 miles
New battery in last year.
Strano springs, hollow 35 and 22 mm bars.
Prothane front opper and lower bushings.
Bilstien HD shocks revalved for Strano suspension.
New upper and lower ball jounts within 2000 miles.
ARP wheel studs at all four corners.
9.5" ZR-1 replicas with Hancook tires. 75% tread remaining.
7/16" wheel spacers.
Front Corvette wheel centers popped out at the track and are missing.
Red with black interior (whats left of interior, at least). This is a track car and not a show car. Paint has lots of scratches that were painted by the previous owner with the wrong color red. Driver's fender has a 3" chunk missing from lower aft corner. Driver's side window regulator is totaly shot. The window is fine if its all the way up or down, but it flops around if it is in between.
Interior is totally stripped out. All that remains are the front seats and of coarse the dash\instruments. No carpet, insulation, dash mat, or plastics remain in the car. All HVAC and related removed. Air bags and sensors removed. Aluminum HVAC delete panels. Pruned wire harness down to the bare essentials. Parking brake lever removed as well as the mounting brackets on the tunnel.
I have most of the interior that I will include with the car. I'll also include a set of C5 Track Brackets, 1-1/4" CroMoly tubing and Meziere threaded tube ends to fabricate adjustable rear control arms and panhard rod.
When I put the car in the trailer last november, the transmission felt very notchy and I had trouble getting it in gear. I don't know what the problem was, but I suspect the clutch master cylinder may be low on fluid and not fully disengaging the clutch.
I advertised the car last year for 4500 but didn't get any serious offers.
My asking price now is 3500, but am willing to hear some offers. I have a Blain Fabrication pre-bent roll cage kit that I may include with the car for the right price.
Car is located in Holland, Michigan.

I need to stop looking at f-body FS threads on the Internet. This is another thread that makes me want to do something that I shouldn't do.
Good luck with the sale.

This car made me late for work this morning. My wife and I had another one of our "car chats".
1) Is the car still street-legal (current registration, inspection ,etc.)?
2) If the car is still streetable, is it in a condition to be driven, say, 400 miles?
3) When was the last time the car was driven?
4) Are you willing to check the clutch hydraulic fluid level? Knowing whether the tranny issue is really simply the fluid level would be a interesting detail.
Thanks.

Yes, the car is still street legal and the last time it was driven was November of '08, right before I put it away for the winter. No problem with driving it long distance accept that I am not sure what the transmission is doing. As long as you could still shift through the gears, it will take you wherever you need to go. I'll have it out of the trailer tomorrow and see if I can figure out why it was not going in gear very well. I'll post what I find. Thanks!

OK. I will wait for your assessment. Thanks.

O.K. I couldn't wait till tomorrow. I got the car out of the trailer to figure out the shift issue. The clutch master fluid level was fine. The trans also shifted fine while taking it out of the trailer so I took it out for a spin. Everything appears to be working normally with the trans and everything else. Man, this is a fun car!!! I had second thoughts about selling it while I was out joyriding. Right blinker would not blink, must need a new bulb? This car is ready to go long distance.

Keith, please buy this car so I don't have to buy it.
I just had the "Well, I could probably cobble together a radio and drive a race car to work everyday..." thought going through my head.

I am interested in this car. I am still in negotiations with my wife. The primary topic is this (I snapped this pic this morning):

Married guys probably know this story already.
I would like to talk to you via phone Brian. I sent you an e-mail.

Howdy,
Keith, I thought you were all hot for a 3rd gen?
And yeah, I understand the picture. :-)

Mark - I think I need to see a shrink. I am moving from being a solid, decisive person to a bowl of jello. Let's see what happens with all of this stuff. When are you coming to get the LCAs?

I was gonna give you a call on Saturday after the kart thing, but in my muscle pain induced haze I forgot... :-)
Shouldn't you keep them if you're gonna be buying a 4th gen?

Hey guys - just to be clear and fair to Brian. I have no reservations about this car after talking to Brian. Brian and I agreed to let a few things play out and if the car is still available after that time, he and I will get more serious. Don't be shy about jumping in due to the dialog above.

Alright. The ebay auction just ended and no one bid. I thought for sure that I had a lowball price on this car that would allow it to sell in this economy. Looks like I may have to wait for a better time to sell.

Just in case anyone still cares, I've relisted the car on ebay. The shift issue is no longer there other than some notchyness when selecting reverse. The power steering hose that connects to the resevoir has a slow leak that will need to be addressed. I hope that my low asking price has not given the impression that the car is junk. I've been pleased with it and am happy with the mods I've done. It is a fun car and a great track day platform.

No but I have had in my head. Had some layoffs at work last week and I am not convinced they are finished yet.
Someone got a great deal.

In this area no one is safe job wise. Many businesses are down 40% compared to last year.
