Here is my oil cooler assembly for a LS1. Seetrab plate cooler{-10} with custom mounting bracket. Mocal -10 oil thermostat, Canton remote filter housing with custom bracket and a Canton remote filter adapter. All -10. $250.00 + shipping.

WOW! I must have been even more lucky then I thought! I found pretty much that same setup, but I believe it's from perma-cool and it has a fan and a power steering fluid cooler all in one. I got it all for $50. I know the fan works, but maybe I got such a good deal because the cooler leaks... hmm.... Now you have me thinking.

Anyone know how to test for a leak in one of these coolers?

Permacools quality is not on the same level as Seetrab, Mocal and Canton.

He's right. The Mocal, etc are "stacked plate" coolers and have a minimal impact on flow. The Perma-Cool stuff is a standard multi pass cooler and will typically be far more restrictive.
