I just email the guy to see if he'll split them up since I want rears. I'm sure AI folks here want the fronts. In case he does not want to deal with spitting them up does any one here want to split a set?

I doubt John V will split them up...but you never know. Unless he has someone who will take a set of the fronts at the same time.

I really wish I could afford his Z06...nice car.

I already talked to him this am, I have a spare set of fronts, if anybody is looking for a set of 4 fronts (which I have), Maybe we can work a deal to break a set and include my spare fronts giving me the rears, I'm trying to get four rears (already have 2)

I need at least two more rears but if the price is good, I may get 4 fronts too. I would just use the fronts for street driving this way I can ditch both sets of IROC wheels I have and I can install my C5 front brakes. I'm just wondering what kind of package deal I can get because I also asked about the pads and rotors too.

Even though the two rears I currently have are aftermarket and peeling chrome, I don't care. The budget is already stretching so I just need wheels to put tires on. Though, if someone wanted to play Santa and trade me Speedline wheels for my aftermarket, that would be great! lol

I'm assuming that he has both front and rear wheels for sale, not all rear wheels for sale? I can't view the page for some reason.

As of 8:53pm central time, he only has 1 17x9.5 Speedline and one replica.

Sorry, I forgot to update everyone... last night at 9:41pm central time he e-mailed me saying the buyer for two rear wheels backed out so now he has those two fronts and the two rear wheels. I'm not sure if they are sold yet or not. I won't be getting them since they are more then I want to spend so now you guys can fight over whats left. Good luck.

That buyer that backed out was me He wanted $250 for that set of 2 rears and I decided I didn't need them that bad.

If I can find two more 18x10.5 and 4 18x9.5 or 4 17x9.5 Z06 wheels, then I can sell my two sets of IROC wheels. I'm not even concerned if they are GM or not. I figured I'm not at the point where that extra weight is going to make or break me and my budget isn't to pleased with the cost of GM wheels so aftermarket are good enough. Anyone have what I'm looking for that you would sell for really cheap? I don't care if paint/chrome is peeling or if there is some curb rash. As long as they are still round, hold air, and cheap I'll be happy.

I have street tires on 18x9.5 AFS that supposedly weigh 20.5 lbs each. Dunno what I'm going to do with all my rims just yet. I'll probably put Hoosier rains on the new 18x10.5's, keep the dry on my current set, and keep the street tires on the 9.5's. I'll try the rains on the street and they prove to be ok I'll sell the 9.5's at a good price. Sarah doesn't know I have a 3rd set of wheels (I'm a bad boy).

Want me to tell him that I changed my mind and want the other 2 rears now? But tell them they need to be shipped to WI? And they will be paid for from another paypal account?

I think he realizes he sold these things for too cheap to begin with and is trying to recoup.

Yeah, I think he'd have sold them just about as fast at $600/set plus shipping. I know when I was looking, I happily paid that much for the four sets of z06 wheels I bought. Though it sounds like they were in a little better condition.

Is it a good deal to get 3 Speedline wheels (1 front and two rear) for $250? Local guy has them for sale and I'm debating it. I think I may be able to get him down to $200...

Yeah, thats a good deal. I've spent between 200 and 270 for all of my pairs including shipping if it was needed. You don't have to pay to ship so that saves 40. Do it. You can sell the 17 for about $100.

I picked up the wheels at 6:30 today. All three were silver Speedlines and only two of them (1 front and 1 back) had very minor rash on the lip. The other back wheel is perfect. There is some left over adhesive from wheel weights on all of them but I'm sure that can be cleaned off easy enough. He included all four stock center caps even though he only had the three wheels. I also got two like new 265/40/17 Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. He said they only have a thousand or two-thousand miles on them and they do look that new. It was just $250 for everything. Now I have 4 18x10.5 wheels (but 2 of them are chrome aftermarket wheels), and I also have 1 Speedline 17x9.5 wheel. Now, should I keep looking for the 17x9.5 wheels for the street, or should I look for 18x9.5 for the street (are the 18x9.5 the same C5 Z06 style)? Or... should I just get another set of 18x10.5 for the street? I also need to figure out wheel spacers, so if you have any for sale that will work for me, check out my WTB post in the classifieds please.

Oh, he said he might have some leftover 315/xx/18 and 295/xx/17 slicks from when he was autocrossing his Corvette that he would sell too. Hopefully he'll call or e-mail me with more info on those. I'm not sure how much life is left though since he only wants ~$20-30 a tire or $40 if it is in really good shape. I think I may have hit the jack pot here...
