Looking for 1 or 2 (I have 1 broken, wouldn't mind a spare) of the center vents. All 93-02 Firebird/TA center vents are compatible. The LH and RH side vents carry a different part #.

Dealer wants $18 each for these. I'm hoping someone has some laying around from a car build and will let them go on either a PIF (pay shipping) basis or for a more reasonable price.

Thanks,
Jeff

Still looking for one, Allen hasn't been able to find the ones off his car..

I should have a couple from my Challenge car. I'll look tonight and let you know tomorrow.

If I can get them out without breaking them they're yours. I'll take whatever you think is a fair price for them. What's your zip code so I can give you a shipping quote.

I'm in 85711. Does about $15-20 shipped for a pair sound good?
hrdlydangerous
Sure but I've got one problem... I don't know how to get them out. I don't want to break them. Is there a trick to it?

Let me check my Helms manual when I get home - I haven't tried removing my broken one yet (missing a couple fins)

When I removed mine I broke 2 out of the 3... granted I didn't care if I broke them so I wasn't being very careful. The one I did not break I simply disassembled the vent before I removed it. I took the vent adjustment tab off, then removed the vent flaps. Then you can pull the housing out. I had my dash out when I did this so that made it easier. After you have it out you can just reassemble it. Hope this helps.

Okay. I'll try that. With my work schedule I won't have time to do it until Friday. I'll let you know how I make out.

Just checked the Helms manual last night and I can't find any section that deals with replacing them - tried HVAC, Interior Trim, Instrument Panel..
