When did they contact you to have the photos taken and get your story? I'm wondering because your car is doing a burnout... is the C4 rear really ready to see the road or did they first get it in the magazine now?

Craig Moates for the win. I love my tuning equipment.

The burnout is on the old solid axle. The photoshoot was done in October, before I started cutting the car up.

Jim McIlvane the photographer saw the car in a restaurant parking lot during the power tour last summer. He left his card on my window and the rest is history.

When the author contacted me I told him I was doing the swap, that is why it is included. I sent him pictures of the car under way so he knew I wasn't bluffing.

Since they know progress is being made, they are likely going to want a follow up story when it is complete and dialed in. Score!!! lol

Speaking of the swap, how long do you think it will be before it's drivable?

2-3 weeks before it is mechanically sound is the plan at this point. I want to get it mechanically sound, and rebuild the T5 in my Trans Am before I move in 5-6 weeks.
