I'm having a brain fart and can't figure out how I can tell what year a vehicle is. There are a couple cars at the junkyard that I was curious about but I want to make sure they are the year I think they are before I spend the time trying to pull the parts. Can anyone help me out?

Hopefully it still has the VIN number.

Both doors for the cars I was looking at were gone. I suppose that would be the quickest way though.

I guess I'll make another trip over there today.

There are year to year differences that make narrowing it down to one or two years easier. What model are we talking about (e.g. thirdgen Formula, fourthgen LT Z28, etc.)?

The SPI label might also be in the glove box, console or rear locking compartment. That has a wealth of information.

I got it off the VIN numbers. One was a '98 and the other was a '01 but both were V6 Camaro's. Both cars were doorless and there was nothing left of the '98 interior. I checked the glove box because I knew there was RPO codes and such and there's something there in my '87 Camaro but I don't remember seeing a year on that.

Either way, thanks for the help. I got the parts I needed and both cars have now been crushed.
