Anyone have a LSx J41665 sprocket/crank pulley tool for sale or rent?

Or another way to get the timing sproket on the crank - sans a pipe and a hammer?

Something like this?

I bought mine at Jegs. You use it with a harmonic balancer installation tool.

Or, a section of round tubing (cut to fit the balancer tool) and a straight section of steel with a hole drilled in it.

but it on a hot plate or heat it with a propane torch. The metal will expand a few thousanths and should almost drop in. OH and use a hot glove to move the gear from the hot plate to crank.

What's the thread on the crank bolt on an LS engine? I have a blue point balancer installer that has several adaptors (like they show). I can see if I have the right one.

Tried this.. got the gear up to about 250*... it went on a hair further than without.

CJ, call me tonight (still have my number?) and I'll pull the kit and look on the spot. I forgot to check last night (got busy working on wiring my dash for the car).
