YES it's on Muti-leafs, and the spring hangers are new, I suppose the spring itself could be tweaked, BUT I'm doubting it ...

I don't have a problem with wheel spacers - but that one looks to a bit too 'universal'. The wheel contacts the hub in a ring around each stud - take a look at the backside of your wheels for the contact marks. Those oval slots, and the side by side slots in that spacer could reduce the contact area enough to affect the torque on the lugs by compressing the aluminum spacer.
I use 9/16" round holes in my spacers, same as the OEM rotors.

How many turns of thread engagement do you get with your current studs and lugs now?
I haven't counted turns, but A LOT of thread engagement the wheels use a E/T conical seat lug similar to these :
