Oh, I met Jules. I tried to help her sort out a handling issue at the nationals one year. I really wish the nats had stayed at Mid Ohio. It was great having all my friends come to town once a year.

Aw shucks you guys! Kevin did figure out my handling issue at the nationals, I did not make the change until afterwards being afraid to make the car worse and I am sure I lost many positions because I did not let him make the change there! As soon as I got home we made the change and the car now sticks. Hats off you to my friend!!!! It was really nice meeting you Kevin and many of the guys here as well.
BTW the Nationals are coming back to Mid-Ohio next year as I understand it.

Really? That would be stellar!
And Jules, you took the safe option of driving the car as a known quantity. It was slightly frustrating at the time because I was sure we could make it go faster, but I absolutely understood why you wouldn't want to make big changes without a test session and run them only in the big event. I couldn't fault you a bit for sticking with what you had already tested. I'm glad I could provide something useful.
Did you wind up taking spring rate out of the rear? Or bar? Both? It's been a while and I can't remember exactly what the data showed. I hope you're using that awesome pyrometer a lot more now.

I kind of remember the back tires being a good bit hotter than the front and we were going to take spring out of it.
I think it was Tommy or one of the Colorado crew who slapped an AI sticker on the teal terror to "claim" it for AI. It's off center and crooked (just like the guys who put it there...that was a pretty good paddock party!) and it's still on my back glass!
