I'm reposting this from CC.com. Maybe someone will see something and can help out.

A motorcycle buddy had two cars stolen. Normally, I would not post this kind of information but since a few of you guys around here are active in the pro-touring area and they were of sentimental value as they were projects of his recently deceased father I decided to go ahead and bomb the board.

The cars were taken from an area just south of Atlanta GA. They are two Pro-Street set up cars, an unfinished 55 Chevy and a finished 69 Camaro.

Descriptions of the stolen cars:

News story about the theft:

http://www.wsbtv.com/news/23973775/detail.html

It appears that they may have been lifted by a "repo-type" truck, as they moved a SUV out of the driveway to gain access, without attracting much attention and there are some scuff marks in the area consistent with a wheel lifter.

So, if you happen to have a lead PM me, email me (tal.isbell@gmail.com) or send information to the contact listed on the link above.

This story is very sad. I will keep my eyes open for these cars in the North Georgia car shows / tracks and other places I frequent.

I can't imagine loosing things that were that important to Dad, just after losing him. wow.. i hope they find these cars before they are chopped up.
