I have sent them a note asking about spring rate and valving information.
No affiliation. Just seems like a decent deal on some great shocks.

It should also be noted that these are the guys basically are Penske. Competition Tire West is Penske and Goodyear Racing Tire out at Michigan International Speedway.

did you get reply from them about the spring rate/valving? I am interesting in that shocks for my LS2 Camaro.
Never did.

Good catch - are those 2.5, or 2.25" springs? You'll need the top eyes, upper perches in the right dia, and you'll need upper mounts welded to the UCA bracket, like this: http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/index.php?sho...c=10209&hl=
400# is light for track duty, but the Penskes can be revalved for whatever spring you put on there.
Jason at UE can revalve them, and get you the rest of the parts you need.

As Alan noted, 450 is VERY light for road course duty. I have NO idea what "road course" valving is, but if they think that 450 are "road course" front springs, I'm betting it isn't what you want.
I'd address the mounting with Comp Tire East if that's where you obtained them.
We can discuss a re-valve if that's what you elect to do. Thanks!

For the upper spring purch and rod end you'll need to get those from Penske. The steel weld in mount you can get at Jegmit.
