Hey, I have several sets of "Continental Tire" (Hoosier R6) race slicks for sale. These are from the "Continental Tire Challenge" race series. They are from this years races and have just one heat cycle on them. They have less than 30 laps on them. 50$ each plus shipping. These cost over 400$ new. They are off the new camaro race cars.Perfect for HPDE or grassroot motorsports.
thanks Leebo

Interested. Are these designed for drag racing (wrinkle walls) or would they work well for autocross? Happens to be the exact rear size for my M5.
Thanks

These are Road Racing tires. Autocross I assume would be fine?

I just picked up a set in this exact size from a local source but haven't run them yet. I paid $75 each so this is a good deal. My understanding is that they are similar to the Hoosier Grand Am Cup tires from years past which used the same carcass as the R6 but was a harder compound. When I ran those you needed to give them a lap or two before they came up to temperature then they were good to go. Not an autocross tire for sure as they require some heat.

Still waiting for a reply! If the shipping isn't crazy, I'll take 6 or 8.

How many tires do you have available?

Even when cold do you think these tires would be better then the Bridgestone 050a pole positions I'm currently using for autocross?
