hey guys, recently i've had a problem with my car whining a little when turning. i notice it mainly when going slowly. could it have something to do with my power steering? sorry this isn't the most technical question. um...mainly notice it when making tigher turns like backing out/pulling in to a parking spot. any thoughts?

How old is you PS fluid? How hard do you run your car?

Try changing out your power steering fluid with a synthetic or semi-synthetic.

power steering fluid has never been changed. car has 41000 miles on it, just a daily driver, been to the strip once, and hasn't been autox'ed or rr'ed.

overall, don't run the car too hard, except for some occassional spirited driving late at night.
is my car far past due for a PS fluid change regarding how many miles i have on it?

thanks for the replies
