The Houston Region is holding their February, 2012 event in the parking lot at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas. The lot is sealed asphalt, and has low grip, but hey, everyone else in your class will be running on it. It looks like the weather will be kind of cool (62), but sunny, so bring your tire warmers. We'll be knocking the mold release off our Hoosier slicks. Should be fun.

It was cold and there was a 50% chance of rain. We took our 96 Impala SS 'cause our track gear would fit in it, and we could drive it if it didn't rain in CP. It didn't rain, although it was brutal cold (upper 40's with 10-15MPH north wind). We each made on lap in the SS for points and then headed to the house to warm up. It was a fun course, even in our SS. Can't wait to run that course again in warmer weather with some slicks.
