Sounds like a cool idea, a little large for a ?/Modified autocross car, but would be killer on a more open course (as well as; road courses, hillclimbs, Solo 1/TTs/Time Attacks, etc.).
Speaking of roundy 'round type things/people, do you know Jon Denning from town (his dad owns Dodd's Auto Body), and he had a garnet 4th gen LS1 SS for a while.
He used to compete in WKA shifter carts, and then in NASCAR late model Whelen Series cars, but don't know if he still does or not.
