http://media.ebaumsworld.com/index.php?e=m...mustangspin.wmvthis video is floating around on the forums, a mustang driver runing from the cops, but pulls a couple quick ones.
where do you guys think this guy learned to drive? (or did he just get lucky with those 180's?)

Lucky ...
Of course, the presence of mind to jam in reverse and take off again was impressive ...

I don't suspect it was all luck. I'll give you one, but two? And, if he had not hit the guardrail on the 3rd one, he'd have gone at it again. I think he had more skill than he is getting credit for. He may have been abnormally stupid, but it appears he could drive.

*had* to be a V6 mustang. no way a crown vic with a 4.6 could catch up to a 4.6 mustang that easily to bump them.
no way anyone learns anything like that autocrossing, that's all nascar. grab a gear and go. I dunno if I could do that or not, anyone want to let me borrow their car and let me find out? I have a 5.0 crown vic you could hit your car with lol.
and.... have they ever heard of stop sticks? the cops wrecked a stolen car!!!!! if it was his car, then fine, wreck the duma$$'s car, but a stolen car?!?!?!? there were also helicopters... only a matter of time before he runs out of gas ya know.

yeah, i was thinking it was a v6 also,
i guess at those speeds, it should be fairly easy since you have all of that momentum, but he did it fairly smoothly which i was impressed with especially if it wasnt his car.
usually you see chases on tv and the drivers really suck, understeering everywhere, this guy shows he's done something before

I was thinking the same thing.
"the good news is, we recovered your car".....
"the bad news is, it's in a ziplock bag in the basement"
"you can come down and pick it up anytime".....

The ghetto wing makes me think it's probably a V6, but it does appear to have some sort of emblem on the left side of the rear.

Yeah... anything competitive that has judges and opinionated scores should not have moving vehicles associated with it.

gotta give him credit for car control.
but I guess he's not smart enough to use that knowledge for some good use.
