Hello guys.. I've finally found myself a clean and worthy 4th Gen Hardtop car to begin playing with and trying to educate myself has been keeping me up quite late at night reading thread upon thread.. smile.gif I'm looking to keep things pretty mild with this car, so all the big baller status parts are probably out of the scope of what I'm looking for which is leading me to some of the 1LE parts. Are any of these goodies still aval. from GM or perhaps a speciality retailer with some old stock on hand? From the reading I gather GM will send "regular" parts in place of the specialty part if their is no stock left. I'd hate to order up stuff and be disapointed so can I be educated with the current status of 1LE parts for the 4th gen?

I'm more concerned with the bushings/control arms as I'm sure I can find some springs or sway bars via private sale with some patience.

Thanks!

I read that the MOOG bushing replacements were 1LE spec, don't know where I read it though.

I'll look into that. Seems that would be a cheaper source if it's true.

I read it in the suspension section here, it's in a sticky up top.

I recently replaced my 1LE bushings after 90,000 with Moog. Except for the caster bushing, none of them had voids. However, some were marked US, and some were marked made in Mexico. The Moog caster bushing had smaller voids than the OEM V8 bushings had though.
