I thought people would be all over this question. I'm using Blainfab's tow eyelets that attach to the strut towers and stick out through the hood. I'm not sure what to do for the rear.

Most european cars come with removeable tow eye for the front and rear. Could possibly be retrofitted.

We all use straps in the UK now, they are FIA approved I even have a pair made from an out of date race harness on the 2nd gen and it always passes scrutineering but a proper pair of FIA marked ones are cheap, look on eBay. My std build:

Floppy hook on the rear thru the bumper cover:




and lift eyes on the front:





Floppy hook is 4800# breaking strength abrasion resistant nylon sewn with kevlar thread, with steel tab and 1/2" hardware. $55 ea

The floppy hook works on the front, too, in a foglight opening. Good for flat towing but a vertical lift will be tough on the bumper cover - might rip it.

Lift eyes are forged 3700# wll, grade 8 bolts and hard washer. Good for lifting the entire front of the car, or flat tow. $45/pr

Lift eyes are not an option, I have a full street car.

The straps are ok I guess.

Why not? They just scream 'Race Car'! Just make sure you add the 'tow' labels with red arrows pointing to them so the Honduh drivers won't ask quite so many questions.
