Just received my set of umi boxed lower control arms and have to say they appear very well made. Fitment is great. I weighed them and it saves roughly 1.5 lbs per side. Sending it off for alignment next week. never used a roto joint end and will update after first autocross and any pro/cons I see in them.

For those who are interested in weight etc.

Good to know about the fitment, I have set in the box to replace my tubular CM ones.

This is their front LCAs, correct?

I have Roto-Joints on ALL points (6) of my rear LCAs, and PHB.

I am VERY happy with them so far as they give full articulation like a rod end, but are about as quiet as the 1LE/Moog stock type bushings.

It does bother me getting the salt dust/brine on/in them during the winter, but I am NOT going to change them out every season with the stockers, and they seem fairly well sealed against the elements especially if you keep them well greased with the Super Lube NLGI stuff.

just a tip. Before you put them on go ahead and unscrew them about 3 turns from where they are already set. I didn't and maxed out camber at 1.3 with caster at 4.5 when I got it aligned yesterday.

And a question a out roto joints. Can you over lube them? How often to lube etc. I'm not sure on the up keep of them.

I believe that the tech people at UMI once told me it is possible to damage the delrin races (or whatever they make the internal spherical containment races from) from too high a pressure grease gun, but I think that they were speaking of a compressed air version, not a hand held one.

I over-grease mine slightly to help ward off the 'salt soup' ingress during the winter months, as my car is driven year 'round, unlike most on here.

I would call them, just to be sure about the frequency of lubing them, for your given useage.
