Wardracing
Hey guys, my name is Travis, I'm 22 years old and have a 1970 Camaro.
It is build for Autocross and road racing, it sees some street miles as well.
Have not had a chance to go last year, so hopefully this year I can get some seat time.
Racing has always been a part of my life since I was a little kid watching my dad race Super Vee's & Formula Atlantic.
Have been racing karts since I was a kid and still do, and have done some open wheel racing.

Nice toy! I was always partial to that body style. I think it's the best of the pre-'82 cars. Welcome aboard!

Thank you have been in love with this body style awhile, used to have a 76, 78 and a 79 before I ended up with this one.

Here is what I have done so far.

So it is a 1970 Camaro unfortunatly I do not have a build sheet, other wise I would now the trim code.
But it is badged as an Z28. Engine is a 1 piece rear main 383 SBC crate motor from Blueprint engines.
210 intake runner aluminum heads. about 480’s cam can’t remember. 320 whp 360 lbs/tq currently 100 shot 360 whp 400 lbs/tq
Edelbrock air gap intake, Holley 750 ultra hp, msd billet dizzy with mad 6al box.
Becool 3 row radiator, Aluminum high flow water pump.
long tube headers straight pipe 2.5 mandrel bent exit before tires.
Lt1 T56, Aluminum drive shaft shop, Dana 60 rear end that has been shortened Moser axles Ford 9 inch axle bearings with 3.73 rear gear.
Spec stage 3+ clutch, mechanical linkage use mucie 4 speed bell housing and clutch, adapter plate to fit T56.

12.7 power steering box, high flow steering pump. tubular control arms with delrin bushings and additional caster over factory, moog tie rods center drag link etc. Adjustable upper A arms & tall ball joint, AFCO single adjustable front coil over conversion. Solid Aluminum 1/2 inch lowering body bushings. Chasis Works sub frame connectors. Composite rear leaf springs with front and rear delrin bushings. Custom 3/4 inch front leaf spring bracket. lowering shackles with upper delrin bushing. Axle pad locator, double adjustable AFCO rear shocks. 275 tires all the way around. C6 13 inch Wilwood front brakes 3 inch brake cooler, manual master cylinder, 11inch Wilwood D52 rear brakes. Front G-Braces connects form upper A arm to cowl area and fender bolts create triangle. Adjustable front and rear solid sway bars. Front sway bar brace. No rubber No poly bushings. car right now weighs 3500 in it, have switched to Corbeau fiberglass seats, fiberglass 2 inch cowl and 50 pound weight losing on the composite leaf spring. and will make some more changes for weight, hope fully get it down too 3200-3300 lbs with me in it

You should see a lot more with a 100 shot. What size nitrous jet?

Please don't take this as negative... those HP & TQ values seem rather low for a well-equipped and cam'd stroker. Are you sure that's accurate?

This on the Dyno Jet that we have at work at IPS Motorsports should be pretty accurate, did find out from then that my carb needs tuned in.
Air fuel ratio where all over the place, running too rich.
Actually had better A/F with nitrous.
It is a NOS Sniper kit with carb plate, nothing special just the cheap orange bottle at Jegs.

My last dyno time was spent teaching the techies at Millar BMW (W.A.R. Chip designers) how 750 Holley race carbs can be adjusted. After 2 1/2 hours of tweaking we picked up 30 HP, just with carb tuning. The kids around my car had never seen the inside of a carb, and thanked me for the lesson, so no charge for at least 6 pulls! Hard to believe they design world class software for fuel management and just make numbers in a grid with no training on basic carburetion...

I just have a 350 ZZ4 Fast Burn and it makes 349 HP and 360 Torque at 6000 revs. You need to tune that carb!

Yes defiantly needs some tuning when the weather permits it is going back on the dyno for couple of hours.
Engine came with engine dyno sheet no accessories supposed to make 430 hp and 470 lbs/tq
