Well guys, I've had my fun racing the 'ol Camaro; but it's time to pass to torch to someone else. This car has won 3 championships in 4 years. It's set and reset many lap records. Fresh LS1 engine, ready to race and win!

Can you elaborate on the hubs, spindles, brakes and front control arms? Do you have any photos of them?

best of luck on the sale! you need more pictures, I've scoured the internet looking for up close pictures. I know you've put a ton of work into it.

I'll have to get out to the shop and take more current pictures. Here's a link to a few pictures during the build. Specific geometry and kinematic information will be supplied to the buyer.

The Idea was to stretch trackwidth and wheelbase, reduce compliance, increase bearing life, decrease weight, and improve geometery. The suspension and brake upgrade led to about 1.5 second faster lap times!

The lower control arms I made from 1-1/4" x .120" wall DOM. Everything else is off the shelf asphalt late model stuff. Most any circle track supply stores sell the hubs, spindles, and upper A frames.

Price reduced. I'm very motivated to sell her, I just bought a new car! No reasonable offer refused...especially to a fellow FRRAX member!!

I saw this car at the nationals a few years back. It was a very nice looking car and appeared well built and properly executed.

What did you buy?
wstukas
Thanks! The car has come a long way since then.

I bought a late model to set up for road racing!

New price. $16.5k to a Frrax member. You can't even think of building one for that little money!

Damn... that's a ridiculous deal.

I thought so too...but not a single email.

Willing to entertain the idea of selling as a roller? I could always use a good LS1...

Come on TJ...what'll it take for you to make the jump to a 4th gen?! 2thumbs.gif

I can't believe no one has purchased this car. This car has been built to the limit of the AI rulebook and has winning track record. I've personally driven the car, it's awesome.

OK...lets try this. It makes me a little sick...

$15k for a frrax member.

My god, someone please buy this car!

Good luck... I hope you sell it.... that is a great price.

I have been trying to sell my CMC car and only a few tire kickers and no on serious. I haven't posted it here, but it has been many sites and the price has been drastically reduced. To a point, it may just sit in the shop forever.

Still available...I added a link with some current pics! Giving away all my secrets!!!! wink.gif
LS1Torq
Thanks for the pics Will! I shall study them.

A friend of mine just posted your add to my Facebook. I was like, yes yes... the car is awesome, wish I had the money to buy it.

Good luck, I can't believe its not sold.

I've seen this car at several events at Road Atlanta and admired its evolution and the engineering that Will put into it. Whoever buys this thing will be getting a really awesome race car.
wstukas
Hmm..a few bites but still available.

How about I pull the engine and transmission and sell the roller for $12k. Any takers? You can WIN anywhere in the country with this car!! smile.gif

NASCAR brakes means 1 set of front pads per season! that's only $80 a year in front brakes! (Pads are 1-1/4" thick!!!)
Circle track hubs and bearings = $30/season in hub maintenance...goodbye replacing hubs every weekend!
Improved suspension geometry and 2900 lbs. raceweight enables very even tire wear. This car can win on 15 heat cycle tires!

This has got to be one of the cheapest competitive AI cars to operate.

Plus...look at the killer jungle gym you get for free!! 2thumbs.gif
