Greetings, I may have a source for 1le parts for F-body applications: including front and rear springs, decarbon shocks, and front sway bar. Not sure if this is a right place but I've been trying to put together some deals to help the ls1 community. They may be close to $80 per pair and $60 for the bar, not sure yet what may pan out. There could be a reasonable amount of sets I believe, but please email me if you want to purchase: amsihra {at} cox.net or if you have any questions you can post in this thread. Thanks guys, just a heads up this may take up to 3 weeks to start to ship, but as early as this weekend if all goes well.

1) What about 1LE control arms (front and rear)?
2) Are you sure it's real 1LE and not "approved replacement" parts (standard stock parts sold under 1LE part numbers)?

No arms or rear bar sorry,

Yes. Story is this tuner bought GM overstock, and they are clearly the 360 lbs front linear springs, rear progressive springs, 32 mm front bar, and 1le Decarbon shocks (part number under verification for front, and rears are twice as thick).

1LE shox are koni's. not decarbons.

I think that depends on the year. I believe some got revalved DeCarbons.

I've heard that more than a few times and I'm starting to believe it, but I've not seen any part number to prove that conclusively (I've not personally seen them for proof, maybe somebody has the info).

1LE's built before '96 had DeCarbons. Not the same DeCarbons as most however. But, even if the shocks in question are 1LE parts, they are at least 10 years old.
Are the springs '94-'97, or '98-'99 part numbers?

I am interested in front and rear 1LE springs.
To throw in my 2 cents, there were actually 2 different valvings for the 1LE deCarbon shocks. The 1LE suspension was reworked in early ’94 (part of that recalibration everyone will remember; they went from the ‘93’s 21mm rear bar to the standard 19mm bar). The mid ’94 and later 1LE’s also got different valving, but the rear shocks were still the larger diameter like the ’93 rear shocks (same diameter as front shocks).
I have been using the later valved 1LE deCarbons for over 3 years, and they are considerably stiffer than the Z28 deCarbons. So as not to compare them to my old original shocks, I bought 4 new SLP Z28 takeoff deCarbons (they were almost free) to compare with the 1LE versions.

I will check the part numbers, to see which years they are from. I'm looking at ordering the springs for myself this weekend, and should be able to verify some numbers with some pictures...
The front springs $ bar specifically would be the most popular item imo. I know some are concerned about the proven performance, but I believe the combination of the front 32mm bar and 360 lbs linear springs would make for a well-rounded roll stiffness for street/canyon, without sacrificing ride quality in any way for sure. In addition, the slighly extra rate up there will help with nose dive and weight transfer (as opposed to a 35 mm bar and stock springs), which is why I believe it was successfull for GM to test and tune with those values way back when. Maybe it won't reduce roll as much as a 35, but with the SLA design we have, doesn't some roll effect dynamic camber, which is a good thing?
Anyway, be back asap, let me know if there are any other questions you may have, regards,

Any new news on parts availability? Some of us like wussy springs.

Yea right! Some of us also like avoiding speed bumps, backing in driveways at crazy angles to see what happens, and telling our significant others to bring multiple geriatric cusions for a quick trip to the ballpark, lol.
No new news, still waiting for a few things to line up...would have responded sooner but for some reason the email notification didn't go all the way through on all the threads...anyway stay tuned more updates to come.

Sorry guys, deal fell through.

Supplier decided to market items alone, and not utilize any distribution. Not a smart move imo but now what can you do. Anyway here is a page with all the 1le stuff in case it helps someone:

All I can say is that the Koni's on ls1 powered 1le's are yellow double adjustables on all 4 corners.

I have a set of the springs from the supplier listed on the page. The rear springs are 1LE the fronts are not. I am 99% sure of this. I will 100% when I get the used 1LE front springs that I am trying to buy.
The shocks may be right for early 1LE, larger rear decarbons and stiffer valved fronts were on 93-95, 96-99 should have Koni DA.
2000 to 2002 are less predictable since they were packages put on by SLP.
I would not buy the set, unless you have a source for the heavier front springs.
* I have some 1LE springs now, they are .580 wire dia, the ones gryhead has are .575 they are not 1LE. The rears they have are 1LE. The sway bar is a correct 1LE 32mm.
