General Sequence of Events
Course Setup: from 8:00am (Volunteers needed).
Registration: 8:30am - 9:30am.
Those who pre-register may arrive by 9:45am
Tech Inspection: from 8:30am - 10:00am.
Valid tech inspection required to bring your car into grid.
Course open for walking prior to the Driver's meeting.
Driver's meeting at 10:30am.
1st car off at 11:00am.

It looks like some of the NKYFBA guys are going! It should be a blast!

*cough* me! I've got change the toe setting. Hopefully the course will avoid some of the bumps this time and the change it toe will mak it controllable. Pro-kits and bumpy @ss courses do not mix.

Them stinkin' Evos....

Ain't that the truth. Actually I think it's funny. The one event I did run with them the fastest one was .5 seconds ahead. The guys need a better car with illegal mods to cheat me in a class where my car isn't at the limit of the rules. It was also confirmed by John Szabo (ESP Eclipse) that they are cheating. He mentioned to me that they had aftermarket cams, turbos, etc. Why he doesn't protest I don't know. It's not my region but if I went back you'd better believe I'd be protesting. After talking to them of course.

I went shooting instead today (shot about 500 rounds with some guys in my car club) and took my frustration out of paper. I didn't go because I didn't feel like driving that far for a course that felt like I was off-roading. Plus I want my Kumho's to be fresh for all of the CKR and KYR events left.

Sean, you should come to my clubs drag race/autox event on Sept 11th in bowling green.

All three of them were hanging with David Kutney, and one was still on the original equipment street tires.

I'm not interested in a car-by-car protest. All they have to do to increase their boost is open up the exhaust - why cheat?

If the street tired Evo can keep up with Kutney on fresh Hoosiers (he and Popp were preparing for the CenDiv) on a fast course then the Evo doesn't belong in ESP. Hopefully the results will be posted soon

Yeah there is something wrong there. I've never seen them run against Kutney. I will definately be there for the next KYR and CKR events-so be on the look out . I'm glad the Evo's haven't decided to travel to neighboring regions yet. I really do not want to have to protest anyone. I'm already viewed as a jerk by some in my region because I do not believe Evo's belong in ESP. They have no clue, but I only stated facts-I never got emotional over the issue.
