I have 4 16x7.5 steel rims from a 96 V6 I need to get rid of. I ran Michelin Arctic Alpin 225/55-16 tires on them, and the original stock size was 215/60-16. On an LS1 they need 1/4" spacers at the front to clear the calipers.

If you need them, you can have them. They are straight, but have some scratches and light surface rust - like basically any steel rim out there.

The hub caps are NOT included but are for sale. Let me know if you're interested, otherwise I'll probably just Ebay them.

I will ship them if necessary, but it probably isn't worth the expense unless you live fairly close to Kentucky anyway.

BTW, I was hoping to get 2 winters out of the tires but this winter will be their fourth (moved to 16x8 takeoffs). You have to remember that they AREN'T performance tires, and an LS1 could totally ruin them in a heartbeat, but they work great on ice and light snow. I highly recommend dedicated winter tires for daily driving above the sun belt.

I never ran spacers with mine. They only rub when you try to stuff autocross tires on the same rim (and autocross...oops, bad idea) and then I did drag the caliper. That's strange.

Maybe mine were from a later car.

It wasn't a question of rubbing. The rim wouldn't even go all the way on. The spacer fixed it though. I ran it that way for one season with no issues. The rims were definitely original equipment from my 96 V6.
