Its completed and the event for the above w/end is to be hosted by the NJ BMW CCA. They just sent me an Email requesting drivers.

You have to be a club member but the type of car doesn't matter.

Here's the link to sign up if interested:

I've seen (but not been on) the circuit, and would be a little reluctant to run it at a club (SCCA) type event, depending on the track configuration, as it's not very wide in some places and the 'carousel', if used, is one car at a time.

I'll be instructing at the NASA-VA event being held on the Main course that same week-end. Maybe we can hook up and I can get a closer look (on track) at the new circuit.

Hey Steve-

Too bad I only have one seat in the car now. They'll never let me run like that. I have such an itch to get one more event in this year, considering my last one was in August. Next year better be a full season for me.....Mar-Nov!

I don't see why you couldn't run w/BMW club w/a one seater. I'm not aware of such a rule unless the person wasn't solo qualified w/in the club.

Unless you are an instructor, you have to take someone out for at least one ride and have equal seating. I'm not an instructor yet! I've only got about 20 track days.....beginner, intermediate, now I'm in adavanced!
