Hi folks -
I thought I'd say hi and introduce myself. I'm in the middle of building a '93 Z28 to replace my '92 Z28 that I sold at the end of the 2003 CMC season. I've put a few pictures up
here. . The plan is to start out in CMC for the first part of the year and as we have time, we'll be moving up to AI for the last couple of races of the year in AI out here on the west coast.

Farmer Nick! Still up for Friday, Feb the 13th, testing? I hope I will be!
We should have all the coolers in this weekend. Wait: it's Cheshire's 30th B-day party on Fri night, and Jason's 32nd? on Sat night, and SuperBowl on Sunday. Oh God. We won't get crap done.
Pray for us, please, everyone! ;-)

Glad to see you here Mr. Steel.
Are you bringing your '93 to Indy in June or your more potent '94?

If you've seen the way CMC races go (my first from behind the wheel was a huge eye opener) you won't want Nick to bring the '93. I think he and I are going to try to find a 2 car trailer and come out with my '96 and the clone (Nick's '94).

hah! Like Jason says and I think Christine and the other CMC guys here can attest, CMC starts tend to be an eye opener.
I think the plan we're currently looking at will be that we're going to bring the street cars to Indy. I'd rather have a car there to tool around on the street with as well as flog on the road course and autox course a bit.

Nick, when you were selling your 92 Camaro, I looked at it almost daily there for a while. I love third gens and liked what I saw in that car... It was just the distance that kept me from pulling the trigger. Good luck with your 4th gen.
After reading the CMC rulebook, I am considering CMC for my car... Just considering at this point.

Hey Nick I just joined up too. It will be good to see you back at the National Event. The car looks good, makes me jealous since I have been wanting to build a real race car lately.

Welcome to the group guys! I need to get ahold of Alan Blaine, He does some killer work. Wish he would come out and join us again in the Open Road race world.
Do me a favor and tell that guy to start answering his phone. I have tried to reach him a few times lately to build me some CF T Top pieces but no one ever answers the phone!

Boyce, email Alan. He's answered those pretty quickly for me. He's making a cf t-top replacement for me next month.
