Anything common laying around the house that I can use to keep the shock shafts protected while getting shipped in a box?

Rubber hose? Toliet paper tubes...?? Paper towel tubes??? How am I doing???

Thanks. I looked around and found the 4' heavy duty poster tube that onlinemetals used to send me some aluminum. I'll cut that into a few sections and use it to protect the shock shafts.
