But I still love Michigan beerchug.gif

It's actualy more like this sad.gif

Or this banghead.gif

I just miss my car. I can't wait for spring. I never know how things will go but I hope I can create the chance to get my car on a track this year. Maybe see some of your cars run. Or at least sttend a race. i would love to see a nasa weekend. AI and AIX.

I did.

EDIT: I should probably mention that it was raining, and the only reason I drove it was to get it home from a trans rebuild.

Well, today it was raining and my girl is scared of rain unless she's racing - so that should make you feel better.

......but Wed, I drove her and took the T-tops off after work tongue.gif

I opened the shop door and noted it was still in there ...

Can't find mine. It's buried under the snow...

I drive mine every day to work and back.

I drove mine yesterday, and again today (any dry day in the NW, is a good day)

Actualy went for a nice easy cruise up towards Mt St Helens with a friend of mine.

Jeff94TA
Well I'm not from Texas and didn't drive mine today but I am planning to drive it to work tomorrow. biggrin.gif

I'm in cleveland, but I DID drive my car today,

took me 30 minutes to dig it out of the snow and the snow around it, and also get out of my driveway (damn thing kept wandering off into the fence). anyways, i think the t2r helped me get it out of the driveway opposed to the stock torsen? it was much easier to drive over the snow in the driveway than i remembered before the torsen was in there.

btw, it felt GREAT to drive my car today.

too bad on the way back from work the starter didnt turn over for some reason, i think i've developed a deadspot in the windings.

If he leaves those locked up too long, I think they'll mate. He'll have a litter of them soon.

I drove mine today. I should post pics of the salt infested machine. It's almost white right now.

Drove the truck (THE 01 TA) today running errands.

Also put some shakedown miles on the SS. Only a week remains until MSR!!

I've been chasing a strange noise from the rear of the driveline, sort of a heavy metallic rattle coupled with alot of drive lash at low, low speeds. I swapped out the acpt driveshaft for an Al one in my haphazard process of elimination. Man! I had forgotten how much of a difference the carbon fiber driveshaft makes at high speed: It's like getting from behind the wheel of a 1969 Valiant into an 2004 500SEL! And this Al driveshaft has been rebalanced!

The mass of the AL driveshaft revealed a harmonic vibration or resonance above 115 that I hadn't detected with the carbon shaft. It may be an imbalance in the shaft, but I will recheck the pinion angle tomorrow anyway.

(Before the flames start, this is at my "High Speed Testing Facility" - a seven mile stretch of arrow-straight blacktop farm road without any cross streets or houses. It's VERY lightly travelled, due to nearby freeways and a general lack of anything worth exiting them for.)

I have a T2R on the shelf, but I've been waiting for my moser axles to arrive before tearing into the rearend. On second thought, I should get that rear end set up ASAP in case of unforseen complications coming down to my track day.

Lets see: five working days to mount and balance the Nitttos, bed in my spare set of C5/Z-06 brakes, do the axle/diff install, find source of oil pressure guage malfunction, swap Turn-One pump from TA BACK to the SS, pass tech inspection, run over to Houston for a retune on the dyno and p/u my new hood (that'll kill a whole day), replace caster bushings & realign, have this damned root canal, move out of my apartment by Tuesday and into the RV on my construction site, find a car hauler and a truck to pull it, round up a pit bitch,...Oh, and I probably should get some rest! blink.gif

Sounds like I'm right on schedule.

Me tooo.... but I did work on the dirt track car a little.

wink.gif I saw mine burried under a few inches of snow tucked away in the back of the driveway. At least it's still there, I thought to myself as I ran into the house to avoid frostbite.

...Last time I tried to drive in the rain. 45 mph + water + coming down a hill. Remember kids, don't let off the gas with bald 315 Nittos and a T2R in the back. The rear end will not stay behind you.

Be careful out there!

Drove mine to work today (wife has the truck in Chandler); also drove it in the LA rainstorms a few weeks ago - and was looking for the "periscope" option button. ph34r.gif

It's freezing here in NJ.....like -2! I should get my shocks and springs on today, but with all of the salt on the roads, and no heat.....I ain't going nowhere!! I may have to trailer it to the shop to get the alignment. mad.gif

Jealous of the wamr climates! tongue.gif

The B4C is in the garage right now. We have the SVO in the driveway, getting it ready for our Houston Region annual Championship Runoffs. Did pretty well last year, and don't have Kuhmos for the Camaro yet. Maybe next year. Otherwise, I would have driven the Camaro to the parts store today, instead of our 88 TII. :-)
