What do you carry?
Where did you mount it.
I had one on the crossbar of the rollbar, but it isn't really easy to get to.
I have considered removing the center console and mounting it right there behind the shifter for easy access in case something bad happens.
Lookiing for ideas.

Well as a emergency worker with SCCA i can tell you from experience that they like to break lose under impact 
4 in 3yrs! And one even broke off the top 
Trust me it's not good! You WILL be taking a trip to the hospital if you inhale this stuff.
With that said, im not sure if you can rig up additional hold down's that are easy to unhook if you wanted to use a hand held.Maybe something surrounding it.So i geuss a cable opperated halon would be best.
And remember that little bottle is only going to give you a 50/50 chance at putting a fire out.Some it will some it won't! If you can try and stop at a fire truck or a flag station, and just get out of the car!

My old one had a pretty good stamped steel bracket and two strap clamps, so I felt comfortable that it wouldn't be flying around.
All the newer ones I have looked at have pretty weak looking brackets.
Perhaps I should be looking at the systems as opposed to hand held.
Just can't see myself walking away from the car and letting it burn without at least trying to stop a minor fire. But that may be something I should get over for safety sake.

A fire is all way's a "make the right decision at the time" and it can go either way on you!
The one in the link is nice, if your in say a school group! But if your racing, get the halon system! there is no other choice!
