In the July 2005 issue of Popular Hot Rodding, they take a trip to GM's plant where they build the LS7. It's pretty interesting so far, and I didn't read it all yet. It's about 6-7 pages with pictures.

They also note that the "Zeta" platform has been cancelled by GM, thus there will be no Camaro in 2007 as hoped for.

I read somewhere that Holden is still working on it in Austraila for their next generation Monaro...

I have read mixed reports about zeta, from it being canceled, to them just dropping the platform naming conventions to stop people from grouping cars together (ala K-car fame).
Who knows. I think with the other companies making decent $$ off their sports/muscle cars now, that chevy would be making a bad decision in not reviving the camaro once its contracts with Canada are over
