I built my 10-bolt up as strong as I could for autox. Now my powerlevel is putting that diff at risk( 411 rwhp) I am looking to go to a 12bolt with a trutrack diff.
Is there interest is anyone buying my complete10bolt?
here are the specs
98 3 channel housing sandblasted and painted with por-15 and black automotive paint
3.41 gears
Torsen T2R diff
PA support cover
lg carrier bearing stud kit
superior forged axles
arp hardened lug studs

Is there interest and what is it worth to you let me know

I'd love to own it, unfortunately it's not in the budget right now... and I'm in the midwest so shipping would be a bear.

what were you looking to get out of it est.? (3.41? I thought they were 3.42s)

fwiw, I was able to sell my full 10-bolt w/ T2R and 3.73s for $750 CAN$.... which is something like $500-600 US$.
I would say that you can definitely find buyers for it.

What are you asking for it? And why is 411rwhp putting it at risk when autoxing? I am making 472 rwhp on a T2 with no problems? I only break things when I go Drag racing.
Trans Am
Hey i'll take it.....But does anyone know if you can make the 3 channel into a 4 channel axle? Don't you just press the reluctor rings on the axles? Let me know!

The risk is that I also want to run the car at the strip, but have not due to the love of this rear when autoxing, I am not ready to sell it at the moment as I don't have the 2400 for the 12bolt the way i want it. it seems that the 2000 12bolt in the ad is not what it costs the way I need it, just like a car sticker price. to add the trutrack, 3 channel abs and the tapered bearings to live with the sideloads of autox pushes the price over the 2400 mark.

bills,
I am on rear-end number 5. 4 stock 10bolts with T2's and 1 brand new Moser 12 bolt with 33 spine axles,Eaton posi and all the bells and whisles.

I broke the Moser's Eaton posi on pass number 8 and 5k miles on it. IF YOU DRAG RACE THE ONLY SURE BET IS A SPOOL. MY car was making 341 rwhp and 347 rwtq at the time. It took 9 weeks for Moser to warranty all the parts and send me new ones.

You realy should do one or the other, Drag race or Autox/RR.

I honestly think that if you did buy a good 12 bolt or 9 inch readend with any thing but a spool and took the car drag racing with any good type of drag tire you will destory the posi unit.

JMHO and past experience.
