The fringes of one of the "feeders" should be passing through very soon. Unfortunately, it looks like the main storm is going to pass a few hundred miles too far west.

We desperately need it to park here for about a week, and of course people farther south just needed it to go away.

Rain is overrated. wink.gif Well at least on sundays it is overrated.

Heck, at the moment I'm willing to race in the rain as long as it doesn't skip my place. It's been slightly windy and overcast here for hours, but still not a drop. I've got hundreds of mature trees and hundreds more that I planted myself that will all be dead very soon if we don't get some rain, and the farmers around me are in worse shape. Some of the trees are already dead, and most are starting to look like Autumn in July.

Besides, we've both done Evolution in the rain. It should be interesting wink.gif

We had been feeling its effects all weekend even though it was 400-500 miles away. Just now the sky is starting to clear up after being solid overcast with occasional busts of wind/rain as the outer bands passed over us. Didn't stop us from autocrossing yesterday though biggrin.gif

But I'm not complaining, it was still infinately better than what we went through last summer. The power of these storms is truely awesome. You don't truely appreciate (and fear) what they are capable of until you've sat through a good one.

I'm doing what I can! biggrin.gif

I appreciate it, but you gotta try harder. So far we've received about 1/8" total.
