Has anyone got a pair of the 360lb/in 1LE front springs p/n: 22132887 that they want to sell?
I'd be interested in the set of 4 22132887/22132889 also.
Thanks,
- Simon.

I have a complete set of front and back springs I could sell, but they have one coil cut from each to lower the car. Not sure if you would want cut 1LE springs.

I have a set of 4 1LE springs that I purchased last December off eBay. But before I installed them I bought some Koni SA's (from eBay) that had SS springs mounted, so I never installed the 1LE's. The rear ID tag states: 22132889. The front tags were off (there is a little of one left). The eBay ad was taken down, 7938255624. Before I bought them, I asked the seller how he knew they were 1LE springs, he said they came off his 1LE Camaro when he installed Eibach springs.
I paid $42 for the set of 4. If you're interested, I'll take $50, because I'm sure shipping of the springs will cost more than $8... unless you are near Newport, NC, so we can arrange a pickup. Also, I'll be in Florida mid-August if you are down that way.
Let me know. Bob

Cal,
Thanks for the offer, but I'm looking for a std ride height, so cut 1LE's wouldn't work for me.
Bob,
I'll take them. Email on the way.
Thanks!
- Simon.

FYI,
1LE front springs have a .580 wire diameter and are about 1 3/4" shorter than stock springs when measured uncompressed.

Z28Barnett,
Thanks for the info. Ramairbrc's springs are 0.57in wire dia, about 14.5in free length.
What do you think they are? They have the wire of the std 292 Z28 spring, but are about 1in shorter than they should be. They don't appear to have been cut.
I'm wondering if they are the 93-97 Z28 310s. Thoughts?

I bought a used set of 1LE Front springs, and a NOS set of rear 1LE springs from gryhead.
The front springs I have had my hands on have the following rough dimensions.
P/N Wire Diameter Number of Coils Outside Dia. Free Length
(Stock) 22077195 .570" 9 4.59" 15.5"
(NOS) 22197228 .565" 9 4.56" 15.5"
(NOS) 22077196 .570" 10 4.58" 15.5"
(1LE) 22132561 .580" 9 4.52" 13.75"
To identify the rear 1LE springs look for a plastic spacer on a tightly wound spring coil near the top. This coil must be the progressive part of the 130-170 lb/in. It has the partnumber 22132889 it is also a good discontinued 1LE number. [http://www.gyrhead.com/special.htm]http://www.gyrhead.com/special.htm[/URL] , Has the rear spring.
To identify the 1LE front spring. Look for a spring that is shorter than stock by 1.75" and has .580 wire. I have not had my hands on the 22132887 1LE spring so I can't give you a way to identify it, but it should be similar to the 22132561.
My ride height is 28" at the front and 27 3/4" at the rear.

Simon,
How soon are you looking at needing them? I have a set on the front of my car, I'm going to get a new set of springs, but it may be a few months before I can get them. John

While there seem to be multiple copies of 1LE springs floating around, I am interested in a set all the way around for a 92 B4C 1LE Camaro. I have a friend who is selling his B4C that has some Ground Control height adjusters and springs that I wanted. He is willing to trade for a set of stock springs, but I would like to keep our B4C F stock legal (actually, a friend is driving it this year in F Stock) and the springs on our firebird are cut.
So, if a spare set of 1LE springs for a 3rd Gen float to the top, I would be interested. Thank you.

Guardsman,
Thanks for the offer, but I've got a set en route to me that sound like they are real 1LEs. I'll get back to you if it falls through.

Oddly enough my 2000 SS stock springs are the LT1 1LE part numbers. They are identical to what you mention both front and rear and the tag on the fronts was a 22132561 PN
Maybe someone should update those charts on the 1LE parts?
