We found three of these in inventory and we're not even sure how we ended up with them since they are custom order items. So, we've drastically lowered the price from retail (around $700), and they are now SOLD.

Thanks.

These things are monsters (and beautiful). If you are building a nasty L98, I'd grab one up. This price is way less than they actually cost (even dealers pay far more than this price). This is a clearance blowout price (I've been talking to Project J about these things).

Yep... now all I have to do is figure out how to adapt it BACK to an LT1 smile.gif

While I ordered it with the LT1 style TPS, I already have a 6-speed (automatics don't like monoblades much smile.gif), and a spare intake manifold to mock it up with... it says the linkage is an 82-88 style.

I sent an email to TPIS, but if anyone knows how to convert the linkage back to a 93-97 style I'd be happy to take notes. smile.gif (hopefully I can just swap the guts over from my stock TB).

Considering the hp levels this baby is designed for, my "project goal" of 600hp shouldn't have any problems with induction... though I'm seriously considering a stiffer or second Throttle return spring... and maybe some MAF vs. TPS testing to see if I can work out a better cam profile for a gentler ramp-up (prevent problems with cruise control or automatic's tranny line pressure).

Anything I can do to keep the first couple inches of gas pedal travel similar in CFM to stock, the better idle daily driving I'll get. smile.gif

Steve,
I am not really sure how to swap the linkages, but I'm sure TPIS will be plenty of help on that. I had to call them a couple of times and send some pictures when I was trying to find out details on what these monsters are for, and they were a pleasure to deal with.

And thanks for the order by the way!

Yep... picked up a second one last night as well for a buddy of mine... his 600hp 427 SBC needs an TB for that fancy sheet-metal manifold of his. smile.gif (I am SOOOoooo getting a tranny rebulid outta this one wink.gif)

These are officially Sold Out!. I guess we just needed to make them Super-Cheap instead of Sorta-Cheap to move them.

Thanks guys. beerchug.gif

You're all out of garage doors? It's about time those went to a good home.

Damn, I've got a used Lingenfelter 58mm sitting on the shelf, but those things went for even cheaper then I picked this up for used sad.gif

Yeah... that's why I bought two. smile.gif

I was considering buying one for that price. Even knowing that I'd need to buy a car for it.... wink.gif
