Anyone in the Bay area California want 4 brand new v710s for $750? Tire still in original plastic wrap. Size is 315/35/17. I bought them but I may not use them. Price is firm. If no one wants it, then I'll use them. Local pickup only. Unless you pay for shipping, in which case, would be barely cheaper than tirerack.

Hehe, could have save 100 bucks. I am trying to save up some reserves so I can quit my job maybe move out of the state. I probably wont use them until later next month, if anyone want them they can save some $$$. Tirerack charges 208 per tire + sjipping which comes out to over 850 i think.

I estimate 110 shipping to most of the USA.

By using FedEx and taping two pairs of tires together, I bet you could ship all 4 for under $40...

FYI, I quoted FedEx Ground for a set of 275 Hoosiers a week or two ago, and it was around $30 from KY to PA if i recall correctly. The cheapest approach by far, as mentioned above, was taping the tires together in pairs.

If someone has actually shipped tires that cheap I would like to here about it. When tires are shipped taped together which is the cheapest way I have found also there are extra handling fees as most shippers will not allow these on their conveyor belts. They end up handtrucking them around. A set of these same tires ran just over $80 to ship from WA to Southern CA via UPS. If you ship these to the east coast $110 sounds cheap for shipping.

Well, I have personally shipped 2 different pairs of 275s using FedEx ground. Both times, I taped them together with clear packing tape and placed the shipping label w/address right on the clear tape and taped over it. I shipped tires from Chicago to KY for $13, and a pair to Georgia for like $16. I went to my local FedEx depot to do this, I don't know if they would accept it like that at a FedEx-Kinkos, but I don't see why not. This is the way to go.
