Build your next monster motor on the right foundation: a 4 bolt main LT1 block! Clean, bare block ready for machining. OEM crank, rods, and pistons removed but also go with it if you want. Pick up in Concord Ca only....$500

Hey Al,

You wouldn't happen to have a spare 94ish LT1 intake manifold would ya? I am looking to send one out to get ported with a set of heads....

Thanks
CMC#5
But of course!!! I have lots o' LT1 parts biggrin.gif

Come on guys...one of you is just dying to build a monster motor on this block!

Problem is probably Pic-up only.

Steve, you must understand ... californians think everyone comes to them at some point in time.

Afterall, it's the center of the civilized universe ...

and of course we all know the only group that equals or exceeds the mentality of "we are the center of the civilized universe" are New Yorkers......the scary part here is we have both of em in one spot :leaving:

Damn it! I saw all these responses and I was all excited thining a bunch of you were arguing about who was going to give me the most money and it turns out its only a bunch of girls complaining about the fact that they don't live in the epicenter of the universe! laugh.gif laugh.gif

I don't suppose shipping this thing would make economic sense...I've never priced shipping cost on something that weighs eight million pounds...but who knows, Harbor Freight managed to ship me a 137lb floor press for $8.00!!! blink.gif

For what it's worth Chris and I kicked the idea around for a couple of minutes. Then we realized that the last thing we need is to start building a backup engine for a car that we'll probably sell after next year. But if we spectacularly blow the current engine up this December you'll be one of the first to know.

I could use a LT1 block, but shipping to Atlanta would be too much.

Concord is just a stone's throw from my dad's house in Walnut Creek, but I'm more interested in a Bowtie block.

But hey, at least the thread is staying at the top of the list!! smile.gif

you might consider offering to ship if you want it gone, I had an entire motor, accesories, wiring harness, intake to oil pan shipped to me for under $150, it was a bit over 800 lbs. It was done through Old dominion a few years back.
