Here is my region's SCCA gallery page. There are a bunch of vidoes of outside views of our competitors. But the coolest ones (IMO) are my "cone cam" movies. I have the bullet cam, and have it mounted on an 18" pole off the b-pillar. It gets a great wide angle view of the course, the car, and me in it, driving as well. It's way more fun than just an abstract on-bumper cam. I've looked at it to see how well I am really doing, since I can see myself and my actions and how I'm actually placing the car in the gates. :drive: burnout.gif

I wouldn't mind seeing a picture of that setup. The perspective it gives is nice. I a friend of mine wants to do something similar, but with the camera ending up above and behind the car to give that video game 'god' view, but really so you can see where the car is on both sides, and guage attitude.

Anyone know if the videos Erik took in Oscoda surfaced on the internet? You know the one I am talking about...

If I had the $ to get one I think I would mount it inside the car so I can see my hand motions kinda like an in-car cam. I honestly would rather have videos of my car from the outside, but at most of the national events the cars go so far away from the viewing area you can't see anything anyways.
