Yeah, the car kicks ass!
I half thought dragging it to Nationals this year (Mike ... er ... Diane offered it to me) but stuck with The Black Car because I wanted to know what it was like driving the same car in the same class two years in a row in Topeka.
Even Boltman could go fast in it.

With that rather impressive list of drivers, maybe we should remove that drivers seat and have it bronzed.....

Send it to the autocross hall of fame.....
It sounds like an outstanding car, and (as usual), if I had more free cash laying around, I'd drag it home (this one, Gary K's, Dave Schotts T2 car, Pats Formula, the list grows of cars I'd like to have had).

That sounds like a challenge. How about a show-down at the AI event 11/6 in Aberdeen in your car?

Wayne,
I'm basically a Bowtie guy, and all around car whore..... My real love is HIGH HORSEPOWER, and rear wheel drive. I prefer to drive it with the LOUD Pedal....

You'd drive a Sentra? That doesn't seem like your style. After all, it was built by hard-working, red-blooded Americans in Smyrna, Tennessee, as opposed to French Canadians like those who built your Camaro.

Steve,
It says OR BEST OFFER... Plus, it actually works...

Just kidding. Hey, the car has three championships, it's worth it. Hell, Jim Pastorious just bought a third gen for $7,500. I might even be able to throw a school in as well.

It's a rubber chicken. Duh.

You choke it and it crows like a rooster.
I don't know if it's included with the car, though.

That's a *blindfolded* rubber chicken that makes noise when you choke it. Not sure why but the blindfold makes it funnier.

I was just thinking that. But, since an F-stock car has to run stock springs and stock rear sway bars, I could see where the large front sway bar would pick up an inside wheel since the rear is "soft".

That's air all right. I've got quite a few pictures with that car hanging a wheel in the air. Hell, the sway bar looks like a sewer pipe.... Yesterday at the NASA event at VMP, the car got a victory in F/S with Scott Hoffman behind the wheel. Hopefully he'll like it enough to buy it.... Any offers?????

p.s. Chicken is NOT included. He's part of the family now....

I honest to God can't believe that this car is still sitting in their driveway.... I know that most folks here already have their cars, but please get the word out.
This thing has history out the ass.... It was the 2nd 4th gen I every autocrossed (not in a school), and I did so to shut up some people who felt you HAD TO HAVE a 1LE to win. It's got 2 Open and 1 Ladies class Championship (National stuff). It's got ProSolo wins, Challenge wins. It's got Koni's that were new in early 2003 if I remember correctly. It's got multiple sets of wheels and tires. The only thing it doesn't have is a home, and it deserves one.
So please post this anywhere you think it might get the attention it deserves....
BTW, the blindfold makes the chicken thing more funny. If I were back there, I'd want a blindfold (and it was added the same time we put the "last cigarette" in his mouth as well).
Here's my version of the ad:
1995 Camaro Z28.
LT1/6 speed
Bose stereo
Power Seat, locks, windows
T-tops
Leather
26 mpg+ highway
Kumho 712 Street tires
And the important stuff.....
3 SCCA Solo2 National Championships
Koni shocks (new in 2003)
35mm front swaybar
32mm 1LE front swaybar
3 sets of wheels and tires (including some very good V710's)
Dynomax Super Turbo exhaust system
New Opti-Spark
New Coil
MSD Super Conductor wires
Redline Oil throughout
ATE Brake Fluid
New rear control arms/bushings
Weighed just 6 pounds more than Sam Strano's LS1 (all aluminum engine) hardtop car at the '03 Toledo National Tour, wtih the exact same wheels/tires/front bar.
References available from multiple National Champions other than the Johnson's (Sam Strano-2, Dean Sapp-3, Pat Salerno-3) as is all setup information (and even some ideas to try if you'd like to change something, though not recommended to start).
This is the ABSOLUTE least expensive way to go autocrossing competitively at any level, let alone nationally, and certainly won't have as much fun in a low powered FWD car as you will in this....
There is are only two reasons I can think of to NOT buy this car if you are looking. You don't like high powered RWD cars that get good mileage. OR, you don't really want to lose the built in excuse you might have driving a slow car.
It's a good old Small-block Chevy that will run forever. Karen Kraus has one with some 350,000 miles on it! Car was borrowed for a local event by a friend and won just last weekend (11-20-05). 100% ready to run, setup as it won Nationals in 2003.
