Well after almost 10 years of continuous f-body ownership, I am finally getting out of them by putting my 'bird up forsale. I really hate to do it but with my new project ('56 Nomad) along with my wife's revived interest in autocrossing her car, I just can't have three project vehicles.

The car really is "done". There really isn't any part of the 'bird that hasn't been improved upon. Sure, there are always a few tweaks here and there (and I can share with you my thoughts) but overall the car is really good to go. It runs great and handles awesome. I put together a very complete webpage which should answer most of you questions about the car http://rdupont.brinkster.net/f.html. Should you want any more pics of something specific, please ask and I'll do my best to take them for you.

Please feel free to pass this on to any of your friends or local boards. I'd really like to see the car go to a f-body enthusiast who will really appreciate it for what it is. The car is located in Dallas, TX and I am willing to work with out-of-town buyer as far as delivery.

Pretty soon, I will be the old-timer F-Car owner in the DFW area ...

Awesome piece of work. Well engineered and well sorted. It would make a great car for anyone in the market ...

Gotta love that torque curve, and the LT1 WS6 Formula is my favorite 4th gen body style. Drool ....

BTW, the Strano hollow rear bar is actually 22mm OD, not 24 as listed.
Formula WS6
its a 95 so its a clone but a gorgeous one at that. unfortunately the silver one he had that was basically identical to mine was not a clone.

georgeous car and man is it built. i really really like the power numbers from that engine and its so simple. gives me new ideas since im still so torn on LT4 or not.

good luck with the sale.

oh yeah the website is very nicely laid out as well

Thanks for all the nice compliments guys. I'll let my buddy, who helped me build the website, know you liked his work.

Yea, I really love the car but alas I have to let her go. As far as the power of the 358 LT1, yes with the right combination of parts you can really make big hp numbers. Just think if I had upgraded the cubic inches.

Make sure to tell all your friends about it! tongue.gif

On the rear bar, thanks for the tip. I could have sworn it was a 24mm. Oh well, I'll change the text.

The Hotchkis rear bar is 25.4 mm hollow. GM did make a 24mm solid bar. However, the Strano hollow bar is definitely 22mm.

I want! I want!! Bump for one CLEAN ride. I saw the car in person, and it looks even better than the pics.

If only you would take my left nut as payment.

Damn, McCall, you have had some nice f-bodies. I also really liked the blue 92 B4C with the T-56 that was sold to Dean.

Too bad I'm broke!

Thanks man! beerchug.gif I might have a buyer lined up already so wish me luck. I'll keep this thread updated as of the status of the car.

As far as the B4C, yea it was cool when I sold it to Dean but it was even better after he installed the LT1 and 4th gen seats.

What would it need, in your opinion, to compete in the '06 One Lap?

Honesty, I think the car would be perfect as is to run in One Lap again. When it ran in '98 it did not have near as much suspension work as it has now as well as it was about 50 hp down on what the current engine has.

Another thing I had planned on doing with the car was run Open Road Racing events. Again, the car is set-up pretty well for that as well.

hehe, ok I'll rephrase it Paul. He "had" it installed. Sorry tongue.gif BTW, you did a great job!

Thanks for the compliments on the car. I believe it is sold. I confirmed the deal last night and should be making the hand off to the new owner in the next week or two.
