I'm surprised it took me this long to find this place, but hello.

My name is Paul Przyborski, and I'm a member of the D.C. area SCCA. I live in Pasadena, MD.

Currently, I'm racing my *gulp* 1999 Hyundai Accent. I did pretty well in STS last year, but I've gone turbo and will be running in SM next season.

I'm also building my 1981 Camaro for SOLO II and HPDE. I'm going to full CP route and have a lot of work left to do.

Interesting collection of toys you've got there. How's that turbo Hyundai run? Looks like fun.

The turbo Hyundai is, um, slow. Not as slow as it was, but slow. I took STS in one series this yes, but the new turbo kicks me into SM.

The Hyundai has the following notable items.

87hp motor stock, about 115-125whp turbo (waiting to dyno)
Full 36-way adjustable K-Sport coilovers (400lb front springs, 350 rear)
PSC rear sway bar
15x7 Rota GT3 wheels with Falken Azenis RT-615 (Kuhmo 710s go on next year)
Front and rear strut tower braces
Tiburon front brakes (larger rotor/pison)
Corbeau Forza seat
Right around 2000lbs

It's a fun car to drive on track, but it's also my daily and beats me to death. And if the stiffness doesn't kill you, the lack of a muffler will.

The Camaro is a slow project, but it's coming. It's actually further along than the photo shows. Notables:

Full fiberglass front clip
16x12 circle racing wheels with 14" rear Goodyears and 12" front
3-link rear suspension
Tubular upper and lower control arms
All seams fully welded
Gutted
1LE front brake upgrade
Ford 9" rear

Working on the motor and some other stuff. Being a teacher, I don't see myself having this really ready for at least 2 years, but it's a fun project. I drove the car all through college and can't wait to get back behind the wheel.

I forgot you had a Camaro. When is that beast going to make it's debut?
btw, I have a thing for 2nd gens too. My first car was an 80 Firebird.

No pictures yet, but I'll be sure to get some.

My lowers are from Howe Racing and my uppers were sourced from Lefthander Suspension.

The mounting position for the arms won't change, but the coilovers up front will mount to a shock hoop tied into the cage.

The rear suspension is a 3-link with coilovers and a watts linkage.

Debut time isn't for about 2 more years. My teacher salary and need to wrench on the Hyundai slow the project down.

2nd gens are the best looking cars IMHO. I ran a '79 in a SOLO II street prepared class back in the day.
