I broke mine in with 500 "easy" miles by driving from Phoenix to LA. The shop that installed it overfilled the rear causing the pinion seal to blow out, so I recommend not overfilling the diff...

I also kept my original gears so I really didn't think I needed a break-in per se.
I haven't had any issues with my T2R, other than not being able to use it on a track....

Oh, and it will eat tires on a routine basis too, so be prepared for that. YMMV however.
I currently have RP in the diff. I noticed a moderate decrease in rolling resistance over the M1 fluid.
