Ok i'm trying to find the real weight of these(my) car's. All i can find is 3311lbs, and if i take the GVWR 4239 and subtract the max passenger load of 701 I get 3538lbs. Now i weighed it last year at the track and it came in at 3450lbs with the 3/4 tank and very heavy 17x11's, and i had removed about 150lbs(could be less) from her before that. So 3538lbs seem's right to me, but...
The National Time Trial(NASA) director tells me he has this car list from the NHTSA at 3408lbs
The rule package is such that i could show up with a car thats 70% gutted and only get 1+ point's for weight reduction

if i do it 1 way, or +4 to 8 for the other way.
So basiclly i need to find an accurate weight for these car's with all the options on them! Anybody know where?

IIRC I weighed my car without the CC1 panels and it was about 3350 lbs. Car has *all* options (including trunk cd changer) except traction control. This was back in 2003 so I don't remember the fuel situation.

My 2002 Z28 on 10 spokes and 275 Nittos (with trailer hitch), loaded (power everything), leather, full interior and a full tank of fuel weighed 3,650 at Memphis last year (without me in it). One person standing there said that their drag car was almost exactly 200 lbs heavier on that scale than the other tracks he attends, so that weight might be suspect, but it's what I saw on the scale.

Either your car is super light or you didn't have a ton of gas in it. My car alone with every option except the CD changer, no muffler or exhaust after the axle, headers (lighter then those cast iron beasts) , 17x11 ZR1 knock offs (a little more weight there), and a full tank of gas weighed 3425 in Toledo last year. And Lonnie can confirm it!
I'll probably weigh it again in AR this year if I can for free, since I've done a little bit more to reduce weight since Toledo.

I weighed mine in 2002 - every option except extra cost SLP suspension stuff. T-top car with barely 5 gals in at the strip. 3450 with everything in it - floormats, spare, etc.

My T2 car (2002 Z28) was 3350 in race trim +50lbs of ballast and 5 gals. of gas.
The car had a full Chromolly cage. Drivers door glass removed and some little things that the cage strategically went thru.

It was probably on E or I killed of the brain cells that stored the information - could have been 3450. I seriously did drink too much vodka in Russia

Also, watching various cars at NASA reweigh multiple times during the year it appears the accuracy of most scales vary widely. +/-40lbs or more doesn't sound too far fetched.
oh, cloth seats.

Couple of days ago I went to the truck stop and put the car on a CAT scale and it came out to 3420 with a hair over a 1/4 tank. For weight reduction I have a 35lb hood, no rear seats, no rear floormats, no spare/jack, no windshield washer fluid, and a few misc things. Its a trans am FWIW.

I will have to go with 3408lbs, which should be good for me
