I wish these would fit a 4th gen ...

I believe these should fit. He's showing 3 3/4" backspacing on a 7" wide rim.
Keith has fit front & rear GTA wheels on his car.
GTA fronts are 16mm positive offset and the rears are 0mm offset.
I'm actually not sure if a 16x8" wheel is 8" from the furthest points (outside to outside) of the lips, or 8" from just inside where the sidewall sits.
Anyway, 16x8" wheels will have at least 4" backspace if assuming outside to outside width and a bit more for the 16mm (0.63") wheels.

If these are 16x7 (would you really want those?) then you'll have less 'front space' than the GTA's and they should fit.

Good point ... but, a stock 4th gen back spacing is 6.5", isn't it?

Edit:
Doh! I see 16x7 now

It's where the sidewall fits (inside to inside). It will roughly measure 8.5" outside to outside (with the caliper at a tire shop that they use for the balancer).

It's actually the other way around as far as offsets go, Morgan:

Not a BFD, just wanted to clear it up.

Mitch: I'm not sure if those would fit a 4th gen, but I would think they would be very close to fitting depending on how low you run your car. I believe KeithO had to raise his car up a little to get the GTA fronts (0 offset) to not rub. Are you looking for a set of rain wheels? If not, I would just keep your eye open for GTA wheels. They can be found cheap if you look and wait. I got 6 fronts last summer/fall for $250.

[edit] I need to start typing faster and not get distracted...
