I'm helping organize an evolution school weekend, July 1 and 2 at FedEx field (Redskins stadium) in Landover, MD. Check out www.wdcrevo.us for all the information.

Just to add some information. We were initially unsure whether we could offer a Phase III, but after extensive negotiations with Jean (read, badgering) we have Pat Salerno teaching what might be the last Phase III ever. This is a good opportunity to attend what I thought was a great school!

Instructors for the WDCR Evolution schools have been announced! Once again, Evolution has come through with a *stellar* lineup of instructors for our 2006 schools.

First, we have the "new faces":
------------------------------
John Thomas - For those who don't know, John is a multiple DP/EP/FP national champion and the man who has the longest string of open Nat'l championships in Solo history.

Jean Kinser-Dana - Jean is the "head honcho" at Evolution and has been instructing longer than I've been autocrossing (sorry Jean)! She has multiple solo national championships in many different types of cars.

Instructors who have been with us before:
------------------------------
Pat Salerno - He's won National Championships in two very different stock class cars, an F-stock Camaro and an E-stock MR2. In addition he has become a regular attendee of DC SCCA autocrosses at FedEx!

Mike "Junior" Johnson - Back with us now that he has a car the same color as his hair (not the other way around). He spends a lot less time at the salon. FS National champion, ProSolo champion in a Civic Si, and scared the hell out of the Corvette drivers last year in SS, Jr. also can be found at DC SCCA events this season.

Rob Falkner - Rob is the inventor of the Phase III and will be here for the last of the "old" ones. Don't be scared because it's being changed, it's an *opportunity* to take a school that in my opinion has given me the tools to make the "jump" I needed!

Jinx Jordan - Three time National Champion (CSP and DSP), this guy knows Hondas! And you just gotta love anyone named "Jinx"!

Dean Sapp - Mr. Excitement returns once again. He's won everything in Solo: FS and GS National Championships, ProSolo class championship, ProSolo overall champion, and more individual events than anyone knows. And he did it all without using his right hand!

Ron Bistrais - Perennial FS competitor who came oh so close at Topeka in 2005. Ron has the goods, don't bet against him in 2006!

If you ever have considered taking an Evolution school, the time is now! Our instructor lineup has never been better, and July 1/2 weekend is quickly approaching. Check out http://www.wdcrevo.us for all the details and send in your registration while there are still spots left.

Brian, I think I'm going to sign up, but I'm not sure what Phase to take. I took Phase I McKamey a long long time ago, but I think I still remember it pretty well. I did Phase II Evo school at FedEx about 2 years ago (you were there). I did one of the local schools in 05 as well in my Evo (which I no longer autocross). I need seat time badly in my Camaro and think the schools are a lot of fun. Which phase would you recommend for me?

Not a Phase III. I'd either re-take the Phase II or take a challenge (I think it may already be full, though). The Phase III is a fantastic school, but it is more mental and analysis driven, not just seat time like a I, II, or challenge is.

I'm taking a I and a challenge this time. burnout.gif

I sent in my check earlier this week and am hoping to secure a spot too.
