We're setting up another open track day at Grattan. This one is on Friday July 28th. Cost is $135 and includes pizza and pop for lunch. Some of us will likely drive out the night before and camp at the track, so you are welcome to do so as well.

One more thing, I'm in the market for a used set of road race tires (most likely Hoosiers) and or wheels. Let me know if you have a set you are willing to let go. I only plan on going to the track a couple times a year, so I used set should be fine for me. 275/40/17 or larger please

I've got some GM ZR1s (17x9, ~21lbs ea, some curb rash) with 275/40/17 V700 Victoracers and the required 2" spacers for a 3rd gen.

The Victos are old and heat cycled, but I'm probably going to try them out this weekend. The guy I bought them from said they have 50% life left right now but who knows.

I'd let the whole setup go for $500. Let me know if you're interested.

FYI, I'm getting another set of 18x9.5 Z06 wheels and a used set of Hoosier Cup tires. I realize that 18's aren't ideal but the price was right for both the tires and wheels, so it just worked out.

I'm disappointed the event is this month. The 383 I've been building is now mounted on the crossmember and the suspension and fuel system is being installed. I won't be ready for a track event until the end of August I predict though.

I've only been to Grattan for a track day 2 times but I loved the track. Are you running it CW or CCW?

I'm still a newbe and I'm not sure what CW or CCW means!

I ran the track for a full day in the rain. It was fun but I am really itching to go back in the dry. I have the slicks coming!

Too bad you can't make it out. I'd like to talk with some of you experienced guys to see what I can learn.
