I enabled the fast reply option the other day. It will let you click "fast reply" at the bottom of a thread, a box will appear below it and you can just reply and hit send. It's a bit quicker.
Just thought I'd mention it.

Actually, this is great. My "high bandwidth" wireless ISP connection to the nearest town is extremely flaky, so fast reply is really MUCH faster at times.

I hadn't realized that it was an option, and why it defaulted to off, I'm not sure. Of course, we just did an upgrade on the board about a week ago, and I just found it in the admin panel. Coincidence?
