If there are, have any of you used the Hovercontrol site? I just registered and it seems i'm gonna have to wait 24-48 hours to do anything.

I would say that it would help in learning how to multi task, navigate, radio procedures and basic instrument work but nothing will replace getting in the seat and putting the hours in when learning the basics.
