This is the last item I have of my long lost Firebird. Everything else has been used to build up my '94 Camaro or has been sold.

The hood is unpainted and was never mounted or modified in any way. It is in excellent condition. The asking price is $100 (new VFN price is $260) plus help in figuring out the best way to ship the hood. I know VFN uses truck freight, but I have never done this, so I have no idea who to call. Would also consider bringing the hood to some track events this year (MI, IL, OH, IN area) if that's more convenient, as I'm going to start doing some track days with the Camaro.

Hood weight is 12 lbs.

I didn't see this reply until now. Sorry for the late response. No, it's not ram air. It looks just like a stock replacement hood.

Hmmm! If I can get a ride home for it from the Nationals I'd take it! Let me do some checking.

FYI - DHL has the best shipping rates (at least, on tires). I usually save $20 over UPS and $45 over FedEx when shipping a set of 4 tires. They provide truck freight, too.

I've tried getting online quotes for shipping something like this and can't seem to find anything, so I'd be glad to bring it to an event I might consider going to anyway. Otherwise, I'll have to try calling these shipping places. Impact1968, if Julie can't take it, I'll call around and find some shipping quotes. I know Alan has suggested Greyhound for larger items.
